19 reminders through Covid-19 pandemic

Dear Friend,

Many of us have been learning and deriving all kinds of lessons through this Covid-19 pandemic. As I thought about it, I would like to list 19 spiritual reminders during this pandemic season. May God bless you as you read them and apply them in your lives to the glory of Our Sovereign Loving Creator God.

1. God is Our Sovereign Loving Creator. (Genesis 1:1; Psalm 136:2; 1 John 4:8, 16)

2. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is more than ever our most precious Companion and Best Friend. (Matthew 11:28; John 15:1-17)

3. His New Commandment to love one another as He has loved us (John 13:34-35; 15:12-13,17; 1 John 4:7-21) is so relevant in our daily living.

4. God’s will for us is to pray always, thank always, and rejoice always even now. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

5. We are to keep on contending for the Faith against lies, perversion, and denial of Jesus Christ as The Way, The Truth, and The Life. (Jude 3; Acts 4:12; John 3:16; 14:6; Ephesians 6:10-18)

6. Safety and Security are not found in money or materialism, but in the True God alone. (Matthew 6:33-34)

7. Family is precious and must be honored and treasured and cherished. (Ephesians 5:21-6:4)

8. The God-given gift of Technology is so helpful and useful, if properly used. (1 Corinthians 10:31)

9. The earth is God’s, not Man’s; it is not for Man to exploit and abuse but to love and care. (Genesis 1:1; 1 Corinthians 10:26).

10. Be always content, no matter the circumstances. (Philippians 4:11-13; Hebrews 13:5; 1 Timothy 6:6-8; Matthew 6:31-33)

11. In all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

12. God cares for us. (Psalm 8)

13. God is Our Faithful Provider, even in the worst of circumstances. (Genesis 22:14)

14. We do not live by bread alone. (Matthew 4:4; Luke 4:4; Deuteronomy 8:3)

15. God provides wisdom, creativity, beautiful ideas… to those who ask Him humbly. (James 1:5)

16. The human heart is very deceitful, manifesting itself in the world. (Jeremiah 17:9)

17. Human earthly lives are temporary. People die any day in any nation. (Psalm 39:5, 11; 102:11; 109:23; 144:4; Isaiah 2:22; James 4:14; Job 8:9; 11:12; 14:2)

18. Live one day at a time. (James 4:14)

19. Let’s love in unity. (John 13:34-35;17:21; Ephesians 4:4-6, 13, 32; Romans 13:8; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 1 Corinthians 13; 1 John 4:7)

Amen.

Disip Vision

Disip’s vision is based on God’s Holy Word in Matthew 28:18-20 and Revelation

22:12-21

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

1. Jesus Christ is God with full sovereign authority all over the world

2. Jesus Christ has commanded His disciples to make disciples of all nations

3. Jesus Christ IS with His disciples wherever they are to the end of the age

“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” 14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. 15 Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. 16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” 17 The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price. 18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. 20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! 21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen. Revelation 22:12-21

4. Jesus Christ who is God is coming again as Our Judge

5. All those who are saved will enter Heaven

6. All those who are not saved will go to Hell

Disip t'aime!

Cher Ami,

Merci.

Que Dieu te bénisse abondamment,

23 Avril 2020

Let's boldly share our testimonies!

So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, 33 but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.  (Matthew 10:32-33)

(Matthieu 10:32-33)

“Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him. (Luke 8:39)

(Luc 8:39)

for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:20

(Actes 4:20)

Disip loves you!

Dear Friend,

Disip is for the blessing of the world! Disip loves you! Disip cares about your soul, your eternal destiny, whether you spend eternity in Heaven or Hell which are the only two destinations after you leave this earthly life.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. John 3:16-18

We do not know what the future holds but we do know who holds the future. It is the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He has declared after His resurrection, before His ascension back to Heaven where He came from, the following:

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

This same Jesus said that He will come back soon:

“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. 14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.

Friend, Are you ready for His coming as your Judge? You can be ready! The Word of God promises you that -

if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved... 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:9-10; 13

Will you do it, Friend? Do it now! Pray this prayer sincerely from your heart:

Dear God,

Please forgive me all my sins. I believe that You sent Your Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sins.

I believe that You love me. I believe in my heart that You are the Son of God. I confess that I am a sinner. I accept and receive Jesus Christ who died for me on the Cross as My Savior. Please cleanse me from all my sins and create a new and pure heart within me. I do now want to live for Christ as my Lord. Thank you, God. In Christ Jesus Name. Amen.

Welcome to join us in Disip to share what God has done for you. Thank you.

Blessings,

Disip description

Disip is a group for Christians who are one in love (agape) for one another (1 John 4:7-21; John 13:34-35; 17:21), willing to share their testimonies (Luke 8:39), and want to make disciples (= Persons who love (agape) ) of all nations. (Matthew 28:18-20)

... who love (agape) one another...

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother." (1 John 4:7-21)

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35)

...share their testimonies...

So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, 33 but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.  (Matthew 10:32-33)

“Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him. (Luke 8:39)

…for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:20

...make disciples...

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” ( Matthew 28:18-20)

Christian disciples are to be ONE in God who Is Love. God is AGAPE love. Christian disciples are to be one in AGAPE. And as agape people we are to go and make other agape people according to the Great Commission.

Disip = AGAPE persons making other AGAPE persons.

Disip depends absolutely on God to execute God's Great Commission. Without God, Disip can do nothing (John 15:5). Disip is to live by faith, the Word of God, prayers, and agape love. So, help us, God! Amen.

Description de Disip

Disip = Des gens d’AGAPE faisant d’autres gens d’AGAPE

Amen.

Dear Friend

Dear Friend,

Disip est an international group of Christians from various nations, cultures, languages, ages, and backgrounds. We all have a beautiful conversion to Christ story to share with you wherever you are! Some of us have already shared our stories of life transformation through receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior on Disip FaceBook page. Other members are getting ready to share with you, dear friend, at any time in the coming future. Please tune in!

We do not know how many of our friends all over the world have already been touched by our sharing to date, but we do rejoice in the fact that Our Lord God Almighty knows exactly! Disip will continue to share freely the love of God which we have received freely from Him, Our Loving Gracious God. Maybe someday, some friends in the world will let us know that they have been blessed by Disip and have decided to follow Christ as Lord and Savior. He is indeed the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can go to the Father and to Heaven except through Him. This is what God’s Holy Word, the Bible declares in the Gospel (which means Good News) of John, chapter 14, verse 6. In fact, this is my own personal life breakthrough verse which I have gladly shared already on Disip for you, dear friend.

Friend, if you are that one who has been blessed by Disip and want to let us know that you have indeed tasted and seen that the Lord is indeed good (Psalm 34:8), you are most welcome to join us in Disip and share your wonderful testimony. This will allow us to rejoice with you and to praise and thank Our Lord God on your behalf. Thank you beforehand, dear friend!

Dear brothers and sisters

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings in the Name of Our risen Savior!

The message that the Lord has put in my heart is the following:

Let’s make people of love and unity!

God wants that we are all people of love and unity. Why? Let’s go over the Great Commission of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, this commission which He gave His disciples prior to His ascension after His resurrection:

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (Matt 28:18-20)

Christ wants that we make disciples.

Who is a disciple of Jesus Christ?

1. It is the one who obeys the commandments of Christ

1 John 2:3-6

And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 5 but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: 6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.

2. It is someone who loves their neighbor even sacrificially, even unto death, if necessary.

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

Let’s look at John 13:34-35,

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

How will others know that we are Christ’s disciples? By our love (agape in original Greek) for one another.

Thus, Christ’s disciples must be people of agape love.

Loving one another is equivalent to practicing the golden rule. Let’s compare Matthew 7:12 with Matthew 22:36-40.

Matthew 7:12 (The Golden Rule)
Matthew 22:36-40
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

In both passages Jesus Christ who is THE WORD declares that loving God and one another is the summing up of the Word of God, the Bible!

The Word of God says in Romans 13:8-10,

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. 9 The commandments, “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

1 John 3:14 says,

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death.

1 John 3:23 says,

And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.

Please note that the word command is in the singular, not plural. It is the same one command, not two separately! To believe in Christ goes together with loving one’s neighbor. A believer who does not love others is an absolute contradiction!

How to make people of love?

By loving them with the love of Christ (agape) that we received freely ourselves.

What is agape love more precisely?

In 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a, we read,

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails.

Thus, in obedience to Christ’s command, and with the love of God in us, let us go and make people of agape love, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything that Christ has commanded.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

As we execute His Great Commission, Christ will accompany us everywhere we go to protect us, support us, encourage us, provide for us, heal us, and bless us…

Let us go and make agape people!

Secondly, the disciples of Christ must be people who are one in Him.

Why must we as disciples of Christ, people of love, be united in Him?

Look at John 17.

Please note that the Lord had commanded His disciples to love one another in chapter 13. Further down, during this same discourse, in chapter 17, Jesus Christ would pray for His disciples gathered around Him, and even for us, today, that we would be united and one in the Holy Trinity, in the Holy Triune God.

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. (John 17:20-21)

Why is it so important to be united, to be one in Him?

To win the world for Christ, for a successful evangelization! (so that the world may believe that you have sent me). There is a lot of talk about techniques and strategies for evangelism all the times… But, the Scriptures show us that the best technique and strategy is what God Himself has prescribed while He was walking upon this earth. It is simply to be united, to be one in Him! The world cannot and will not believe that Jesus was sent by the Father, which is what we proclaim, if we are divided.

What risk God has taken to count upon us, His disciples, to be always united and to manifest that unity and oneness without fail! It is the precondition for a successful execution of Christ’s Great Commission-so that the world may believe that you have sent me. How much faith and trust did God place upon us to maintain our Christian unity! Let us not disappoint Him, brothers and sisters. Let us be people of unity. Let us be one in Him!

How to be one?

Again, the answer is through agape love! It is through constant and consistent daily loving of one another as Christ has loved us.

Hence, brothers and sisters, let us be people of unity and of love! Let us be ONE in agape! When we are ONE in agape, we are ONE in God because God is agape. God is Love! (1 John 4:16)

If we are people of love, we will be known as disciples of Christ (John 13:34-35); if we are united and one in God, the world shall believe that God the Father has indeed sent Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world! (John 17:21).

Dear brothers and sisters, Let us be one in agape love.

And let us go and make agape love people!
