Growing up as a teenager, I had a
lot of questions:
- Why must people die?
- What is the purpose of life?
- Does God exist? If so, does He care?
- Is there a Hell?
- Does Heaven exist? If so, how to get there?
I was a sincere seeker of the Truth. Wherever the Truth would lead, I would follow. I felt a void and an emptiness in my heart that could not be filled no matter how many parties after parties I went to. Who can help me?
One day, I went into a church, sat down by myself, and pleaded with God that if He exists, to please help me and reveal Himself to me, and to let me find the Truth.
Not long afterwards, I was invited to a Gospel meeting where, for the very first time in my entire life, I heard the preacher declare that Jesus Christ said, "I am the Way, and the truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." This hit me so hard. I finally realized that Jesus Christ was the Answer to all my questions. I got convicted and decided to put my faith in Him and to follow Him- No turning back. Thus was I born again in Christ my Lord and Savior!

Ever since, the emptiness in my
heart was gone. I have experienced and am experiencing God's love, peace, joy,
and blessings. What a wonderful gift of eternal abundant life that God has
granted me freely through Jesus Christ! As the apostle Paul, I can humbly
declare, "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
