My testimony

"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."

Growing up as a teenager, I had a lot of questions:

- Why must people die?
- What is the purpose of life?
- Does God exist? If so, does He care?
- Is there a Hell?
- Does Heaven exist? If so, how to get there?

I was a sincere seeker of the Truth. Wherever the Truth would lead, I would follow. I felt a void and an emptiness in my heart that could not be filled no matter how many parties after parties I went to. Who can help me?

One day, I went into a church, sat down by myself, and pleaded with God that if He exists, to please help me and reveal Himself to me, and to let me find the Truth.

Not long afterwards, I was invited to a Gospel meeting where, for the very first time in my entire life, I heard the preacher declare that Jesus Christ said, "I am the Way, and the truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." This hit me so hard. I finally realized that Jesus Christ was the Answer to all my questions. I got convicted and decided to put my faith in Him and to follow Him- No turning back. Thus was I born again in Christ my Lord and Savior!

Ever since, the emptiness in my heart was gone. I have experienced and am experiencing God's love, peace, joy, and blessings. What a wonderful gift of eternal abundant life that God has granted me freely through Jesus Christ! As the apostle Paul, I can humbly declare, "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."

The Greatest Victory in History

The greatest victory in History may not be what you think of or guess. It did not occur yesterday or last week or last month or last year or last century or last millennium. It happened two millennia ago. It happened in Israel when a Jew was most unjustly nailed upon a cross on a Friday. His name was Jesus Christ. He was crucified and buried in a borrowed tomb. On Sunday morning, it was discovered that He, Jesus Christ had risen from the dead and was alive forevermore. He appeared to hundreds of His followers over a period of forty days before He ascended back to Heaven where He came from. Jesus Christ was God in the flesh, is, and will forever be God. He is now seated at the right hand of Father God according to the Scriptures (Luke 22:69; Mark 16:19; Heb 10:12; 12:2).

Jesus Christ, the Son of God won the greatest victory in History over the flesh, the world, sin, Satan, death, and Hell unto the glory of God and the advancement of His kingdom on earth!

Praise, Honor and glory be unto Our Lord God now and forever and evermore.

We who have put our trust in Jesus and have faith in Him can enjoy and celebrate this greatest victory in History this day and everyday for the rest of our lives and throughout eternity in Heaven in God’s very presence. Hallelujah!

This Sunday, the whole wide world will celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

For God so loved the world (including the Chinese) that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ) that whoever (including any Chinese) believes in Him shall not perish (in Hell) but have eternal abundant life and eternal joy in Heaven forever and ever. (John 3:16)
