What does the Resurrection of Jesus Christ mean to us?

For more than 2000 years now, no one has ever been able to disprove scientifically the veracity of the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Third Day after His Crucifixion. This confirms the truth of the Bible (this Book has also most successfully passed the test of being the only true Divine and Holy Word of God) narrative about Jesus Christ and His Resurrection from the dead. What does this resurrection of Jesus Christ mean to you and me, dear brother and dear sister-in-Christ? This miracle of Christ's Resurrection means that:

1. God exists and He is really in sovereign control of Life. (Genesis 1:1)
2. Jesus Christ is who He claimed to be in the Bible: God's Son sent to die on the cross for our sins as Our Savior. (John 3:14-17)
3. Jesus Christ is indeed The Way, The Truth, and The Life. (John 14:6)
4. God has overcome His enemy Satan absolutely and won a decisive eternal victory over the evil one!
5. Jesus Christ has opened the way for you and me to overcome death, Satan, and Hell as we believe and have faith in Him.
6. As believers in Our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, we inherit His eternal abundant life and Heaven that He promised us in His Word, the Bible. (John 10:10; 14:1-3)
7. We must love Christ and obey Him throughout our lives. To love Him is to obey His commandments. (John 14:15)

What are Christ's commandments?
(I) Love God and one another. (Matthew 7:12; 22:36-40; John 13:34-35; 15:12, 17)
(II) Make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8)
May God bless you all! Happy Resurrection Day celebration!

Give thanks to the Lord God Yahweh/Shangdi!

Psalm 118 New International Version (NIV)

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
    his love endures forever.
Let Israel say:
    “His love endures forever.”
Let the house of Aaron say:
    “His love endures forever.”
Let those who fear the Lord say:
    “His love endures forever.”
When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord;
    he brought me into a spacious place.
The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.
    What can mere mortals do to me?
The Lord is with me; he is my helper.
    I look in triumph on my enemies.
It is better to take refuge in the Lord
    than to trust in humans.
It is better to take refuge in the Lord
    than to trust in princes.
10 All the nations surrounded me,
    but in the name of the Lord I cut them down.
11 They surrounded me on every side,
    but in the name of the Lord I cut them down.
12 They swarmed around me like bees,
    but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns;
    in the name of the Lord I cut them down.
13 I was pushed back and about to fall,
    but the Lord helped me.
14 The Lord is my strength and my defense;
    he has become my salvation.
15 Shouts of joy and victory
    resound in the tents of the righteous:
“The Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!
16     The Lord’s right hand is lifted high;
    the Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!”
17 I will not die but live,
    and will proclaim what the Lord has done.
18 The Lord has chastened me severely,
    but he has not given me over to death.
19 Open for me the gates of the righteous;
    I will enter and give thanks to the Lord.
20 This is the gate of the Lord
    through which the righteous may enter.
21 I will give you thanks, for you answered me;
    you have become my salvation.
22 The stone the builders rejected
    has become the cornerstone;
23 the Lord has done this,
    and it is marvelous in our eyes.
24 The Lord has done it this very day;
    let us rejoice today and be glad.
25 Lord, save us!
    Lord, grant us success!
26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
    From the house of the Lord we bless you.
27 The Lord is God,
    and he has made his light shine on us.
With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession
    up to the horns of the altar.
28 You are my God, and I will praise you;
    you are my God, and I will exalt you.
29 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
    his love endures forever.

Bless and Praise Our God who does whatever He pleases (Ps 115:3)

Psalm 115 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

1 Not to us, O Lord, not to us,
But to Your name give glory
Because of Your loving-kindness, because of Your truth.
Why should the nations say,
“Where, now, is their God?”
But our God is in the heavens;
He does whatever He pleases.
Their idols are silver and gold,
The work of man’s hands.
They have mouths, but they cannot speak;
They have eyes, but they cannot see;
They have ears, but they cannot hear;
They have noses, but they cannot smell;
7 They have hands, but they cannot feel;
 They have feet, but they cannot walk;
They cannot make a sound with their throat.
Those who make them will become like them,
Everyone who trusts in them.
O Israel, trust in the Lord;
He is their help and their shield.
10 O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord;
He is their help and their shield.
11 You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord;
He is their help and their shield.
12 The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us;
He will bless the house of Israel;
He will bless the house of Aaron.
13 He will bless those who fear the Lord,
The small together with the great.
14 May the Lord give you increase,
You and your children.
15 May you be blessed of the Lord,
Maker of heaven and earth.
16 The heavens are the heavens of the Lord,
But the earth He has given to the sons of men.
17 The dead do not praise the Lord,
Nor do any who go down into silence;
18 But as for us, we will bless the Lord
From this time forth and forever.
Praise the Lord!

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended to the dead.
On the third day He rose again;
He ascended into heaven,
He is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,

Amen

Love Yahweh/上帝 and each other!

Everything that has ever happened, is happening, and will ever happen in the universe is known by Yahweh/上帝. Everything is under His Sovereignty. Nothing and no one is outside His Sovereign control including Satan and all his agents. It may not seem so in our limited human perspective but Our God is far far superior than anyone.

Our God is the Holy Trinity, the Holy Triune God: Father, Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Yes, Jesus Christ came into the world as God in the flesh. This is what the Bible teaches. We may not understand or comprehend it. It surpasses our understanding or even our imagination. We are to accept it and believe it by faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. We must not only believe what we can see alone. We must believe God even though we do not see Him with our physical eyes. We must believe all that He tells us and reveals to us in His Word, the Bible. The Bible is God's Word miraculously preserved and handed down to us over so many generations and centuries.

The Bible is absolutely trustworthy. It is the only divine Book that can be completely trusted. It is the vital standard and reference for Man to live by. It is to be correctly interpreted and obeyed by us all. May Our God help us all to know His Word and obey its commandments!

Essentially, the Bible teaches us to love Our God and one another wholeheartedly. This is the will of God; it is His Greatest Commandment. Some of the implications of loving God and one another are:

-Doing good to one another.
-Being kind to one another.
-Serve one another.
-Pray for and bless one another.
-Going and making Christ's disciples of one another (Matthew 28:18-20).
-Bearing all the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

Praise, Honor, and Glory to Yahweh/Elohim/Adonai/上帝! Amen.
