Worship God through Giving

God owns everything (Psalm 24:1). We are His stewards or managers of His property. God gave His Son through love. We are to give in love too. Giving will bless us (Luke 6:38). Withholding will cause us not to receive. God is our Source (Philippians 4:19). We are to give to those who teach us God's Word (Galatians 6:6). We must give our bodies to Christ as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). We are to give generously to those in need thus glorifying God. In the Old Testament, God's people came to worship bringing gifts. Giving is a form of worship. We must not come to church empty-handed, but bring gifts to the Lord God.
